24 diapers if you are using the dryer and 36 if you are line drying (6 Mother-ease bamboo diapers for night time!)

30 wipes and a bowl with water for quick easy washes at home and a peri bottle or bum spray for the diaper bag

for night time, use a stay dry liner or microfleece liner to keep baby’s skin dry

2 small wetbags for your diaper bag, one for in your diaper bag and one for backup

biodegradable liners or other liners if your child is on formula or solids so it’s easy to shake solids into the toilet where they belong and to save your diapers from creams if you choose to use them

when taking the diaper off baby, take all inserts out/off, throw them in your diaper pail/laundry bag
Washing:

when ready, throw diapers, wipes, wetbags and laundry bag (inside out) into the machine

do a hot wash with ¼ of the little cup of claudia’s choices

an open pail system or laundry bag isn’t as stinky as a closed pail

putting your diapers in the sun to dry will bleach out most stains

if you aren’t sure what size to use, use the smaller size of diaper or larger size of insert

instead of disposable wipes, use reusable wipes with water at home and put the wipes in the laundry bag and wash with your diapers (you have just eliminated an extra trip to the garbage can!)

Some hemp and bamboo manufacturer's recommend prepping them first. Ask me if you think you need to and if so: boil hemp and bamboo product’s liners for 30 minutes to get rid of natural oils and maximize their absorbency ~ or if they have snaps, put them in a sink with some dish soap and soak them for several hours wringing them out several times (my preferred method!).
